30 days of images, day 27.  As the 30 days start winding down and you see today's image, you may think that I've gone completely off the deep end. 

Why a box of mince meat, you say?  Well, it's like this.  This is a hilariously funny picture.   Ok, ok, I see the completely perplexed look on your face.  No, really,  it's a funny picture. 

I'll give you a clue.  This box has never been opened.  The mince meat is still inside.  Don't get it yet?  I guess my mom decided to buy it because she had a craving for mince meat pie.  But she didn't use it.

And now I'm taking a picture of it.  *sigh*  Ok.  Maybe you had to be there.  But it really is funny, honest!  Just be sure and look at it closely and maybe you'll see the joke too. 

Or maybe I really have gone off the deep end.  The crazy person is always the last to know, so they say.  Whoever THEY are.

200th Blog

30 days of images, day 25.  And, my 200th blog.

I was afraid today would be a wash-out because it started out dreary and raining.  But oh, the wonderful clouds that rolled in after the rain blew away!  I actually got several good cloud shots today.  It was a beautiful evening and I went for a drive to find something interesting for my 200th blog.

For me, the clouds were interesting enough, but I found several other fun things to shoot as well.  I think I gave my friend whiplash as I suddenly would see something interesting and whip the truck in that direction.  Such was the case for today's image.  I saw this military helicopter suspended in mid-air in a veterans park and had to stop.  Combining silhouette, clouds, and a sunset--a perfect end to a perfect evening.

I dedicate today's blog to everyone who has, is, or will be serving in the military.
