It's supposed to be cold and blustery tomorrow, so here's a nice image of a ginormous Ceiba tree from our stop in Puerto Rico on our honeymoon cruise.

Anniversary

Satisfyingly

It was a snowy, quiet Easter this year.  After my husband got home from snowplowing, we had delicious rotisserie cornish hens. 

Perdurability

Many years ago, Minneapolis and St. Paul dug up their streets to remove streetcar tracks.  In the process, they also dug up all the cobblestones that paved the streets in bygone days that were hidden under the asphalt.

These are a few that must have been rescued by my husband's mom during that time.  I think I have one somewhere too.

Six years ago I was busy getting ready for a wedding.  For the "something old", a strand of simulated pearls that belonged to my mother.
