Progressively
It's been a long, hard road, but the house renovation finally started today. I am so relieved that this is moving forward!
I thought I'd do a triptych to show the progress in one of the rooms, in this case, the kitchen. Image one is shortly before we moved in, back in 2018. Image two is from this past weekend when we were prepping for the construction crew. Image three is from this evening after the close of demo day one.

Hoary
On the way out the door this morning, I almost missed this beautiful hoar frost on the ground. The larger "flake" was about the size of my spread-out hand. With all the melting snow and wind blowing the last few days, it created just the right atmosphere for this beauty.
It amazes me how God can make something so intricate that only lasts a few hours and then it is gone.

Preciously
Digging in the archives tonight. My mom looking super happy as her friends sing happy birthday to her. She was 75 years young that day.
I have to say, though, that this picture is bittersweet. Only one of the women pictured is still living. But they were all lovely women of God, so I'm sure they are singing in heaven now.
