Greasy

My husband is a hard-working man.

He had to put a new starter in his truck tonight after work.  Outside in the driveway.  Outdoor temp was 5°F and windchill was -3°F at the time.  He did wear his winter gear and he hooked up a portable heater, which kept his body warm.  But those hands!  No room for gloves while wrenching on one's truck.

When he was done, he came in to warm up and clean up, but I said I wanted to get a shot of those hands before the Goop went on.

Shimmeringly

I know it's after Christmas, but many people still have their Christmas lights up and I think they look pretty.

The past few years Christmas hasn't really felt like Christmas to me.  I think it's a combination of several things, but regardless, I'm glad I can still enjoy some Christmas scenery in my travels.

Stuffy

After the football game last month,  we decided to walk to our vehicle, since it was close enough.  Looking at how tightly the light rail was stuffed, I think we made the right choice.

Pipy

There's some construction on Godfrey Parkway in the area of Hiawatha Avenue.  These ginormous shiny blue pipe fittings caught my eye.  It almost seems a shame to bury them, as they would be a lovely addition to any playground - a kiddie Habitrail.

Animatedly

I saw this cute snowman with a big heart last night and had to stop and take his picture.  He looks so happy.

This is the same house that does the Peeps bunny for Easter.
