Choppy
On the way home from work this evening, I noticed that the moon was big and crisp and round. I thought I'd zip down to Lock & Dam #1, since it was on the way, and found this massive flow of ice chunks floating down the main channel of the Mississippi with an ice crust by the shore.
I decided to play around with the pano feature on my phone. The moon ended up being a tiny dot, but I'm ok with that. I can always get that another time with my "real" camera.
Techie Corner
I've never had much interest in pano mode, but I'm finding it's fun. I just wish the full-size image quality was better. Even the new iPhone 11 Pro leaves a lot to be desired in that department. Definitely an improvement over the 7/8 though.

Frisky
Along with the pig that my friend gave me the other night, she also gave me this interesting wooden cat ball. It has 3 intricately carved and painted frisky kitties on it.
While taking pics, I noticed a name and date painted on it, so I Googled it. The artist had a whole line of these folk art wooden pull toys back in the 80s and 90s. They all came with a wooden cart. This one originally came with a cart with carved wooden balls of yarn for wheels.
Looking at the various carts online, it appears that the wheels on the cart might have rotated the ball so that you could see the carvings on the other side. I'll have to see what I can come up with for appropriately displaying this.

Manufactory
Apparently, my mom wanted to show people the building where she worked, which was Horton Manufacturing at the time.
I know it wasn't to document the car, because their blue 1961 Olds Starfire convertible wasn't in the greatest shape in this pic.
2x2 neg scanned with Epson V600. I love the bigger negatives!

Rambunctiously
I had fun hanging out with a friend this evening. In addition to talking and laughing, we had fun playing with her melting snowman. I had no idea such things existed!
She also gave me this lovely pig as a present, so of course, I had to put the two together. It looks like Mr. Snowman could be participating in a pig rodeo. I think, from the look on his face, he just realized that he should have been holding on.
