Horsey
Take a look at those school buses, running on 2 hp each! I wonder how many MPC (miles per carrot) those babies get.
I thought back then that every school kid had to walk uphill for miles, both ways, to get to school.

There were some really large tears in this photo. It took a while to clean up in Photoshop.

Juvenility
Digging in the archives tonight. My cousin and I, hanging out at grandma's house. I guess I've always had a camera in my hand.

This was a scan of an old 110 negative. Nasty film! It took a lot of work to get it to look this good.

Experientially
I won tickets to the Vikings/Packers game on December 23rd. It was my first time in US Bank Stadium and my first (and most likely, last) football game.
I mainly wanted to go see the stadium, since I love architecture. Which turned out to be a good thing, because if I was interested in football, I would have been sorely disappointed.
A new Vikings game record was made with 67,167 in attendance, but the stadium started bleeding purple as soon as it was obvious that the Vikings were going to lose. I didn't mind, as it gave me a chance to start playing with the pano feature on my phone without a whole lot of people blocking my view.
We stuck around after the Vikings were put out of their misery to avoid getting caught in the exiting throng. I kept playing with the pano feature and today's image was my favorite shot: my wonderful husband with his fractured and disembodied pano hand, a sea of purple seats (not comfortable, I might add), and miscellaneous discarded flotsam and jetsam from fans.
Don't get me wrong, it was a very interesting experience and I enjoyed myself. I just wish I had brought earplugs.

Self-scrutiny
A new decade started today. What will it bring?
Good times and bad times and times that I sing.
A new decade started today. What will I do?
Enjoy it and hate it and find a way through.
A new decade started today. Who will I love?
Friends and family and my savior above.
A new decade started today. What are my goals?
More caring and doing and feeding of souls.

Affordably
My 31 days of Christmas celebration is coming to a close. The last dregs of decorations are on reduced clearance, post-Christmas sales are winding down and everyone is looking forward to a brand-spanking-new year.
