Inundatory
Another image from our Iowa trip. At least the people in the back left house have the right idea. Stilts are the way to go if you choose to live in a floodplain.

Dispassionately
Love was in the air tonight, for one of them at least, as I was on my way home from work. This poor, bedraggled dude was doing his best to woo a very unimpressed female. She, however, was having none of it. In fact, she was so unimpressed that she eventually flew a half block away and up into a very tall tree. No love connection this time.
Techie Corner
I thought there was enough light for a good shot, but it still turned out blurry. I'll have to try turning up the ISO next time, although I'm not fond of high ISO graininess. Or maybe buy a better camera. hmmmm
Even though it was blurry, I still thought it was too funny not to blog. He: "Look at my butt! Look at it!" She: "Not interested."

Fecundity
On our Iowa journey we came upon a small group of lakes with a couple hundred pelicans hanging out. Groups of them would slowly drift to one end and then they would start taking off into the sky. They would fly around in a few circles and then land back in the water and do it all over again. It was like they were on a ride at an amusement park.

Resplendency
I got some lovely Freesia flowers from my husband a week ago, which also do a fine job of commemorating Easter today. He is risen! He is risen, indeed!

Lumpy
Had to stop at Menards today and noticed the nastiest pile of winter snow dregs you ever did see. This worker was relieving stress by picking up dirty snow lumps with his forklift and dropping them from great heights to watch them smash on the ground.
