Disassembly
On the way home from the Fair, we came across the skeletal remains of the Weyerhaeuser Lumber distribution facility. The lumberyard closed in 2016. They were actively tearing it down, even though it was a Saturday evening. Parks and affordable housing are slated for the site.
It reminds me of a giant Erector set.

Finally
And finally, the 2018 MN State Fair is wrapping up today, so I'm closing this set of blogs with a very sad Fairchild Gopher.

Cinematically
More from the 2018 MN State Fair. The Blue Moon Dine-in-Theater was, by far, the most comfortable place to sit at the Fair. Re-purposing old cars seats for an old time drive-in feel is genius – especially after you've been walking around at the Fair for any length of time.
I tried the Orange Dream shake, but it was a bust. They obviously didn't mix it up well as there was 4 inches of orange liquid in the bottom. My husband's chocolate shake was better.
The best part was just relaxing and watching I Love Lucy for a half hour.
On the technical side, it was quite dark in there and I was hand-holding the camera at 1/6 sec, so it wasn't as sharp as I would have liked it.

Kinetically
More from the 2018 MN State Fair. These girls were kicking it high during the parade. If I tried to do that I would fall over and take the whole row with me.
