Hit Rice Park tonight to see the ice sculptures and ice palace, which is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival. 

It's been 10 years since I took pictures out here, and boy, has it changed!  Instead of a few ice sculptures and a mini donut truck parked on the street, there is an assortment of vendors inside the park along with a live band.

Even though it was cold and snowing, there were still a lot of people hanging around.

Unlike the 110 film from last night, all I needed to do on this 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 neg was clean up the dust.

110 film isn't always the easiest to work with, as you can see from the raw scan below.  I had to do some tweaking to get it to look the way it does in today's featured image.
