I saw this glass ball style chandelier at a wedding we went to last week.  I saw this style for the first time, albeit on a grander scale, in April,  aboard a cruise ship.

I am now coining a new term to describe the style:  baubelier.  All of those whimsical baubles hanging from the ceiling give me a happy feeling and I think "baubelier" suits it better.

This ornately-carved brass container was always in my mom's desk.  It was the go-to spot for me to get a stamp for the all-important pen-pal letter to this or that person.
