All Aboard!
~ 90 day blog challenge: day 52 ~
The Red Wing Depot
"The historic Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad Depot was completed in 1905. The depot was designed by railroad company architect J. M. Nettenstrom in a style influenced by the neoclassical revival of the 1893 Chicago Columbian Exposition. The building is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The restoration of the building was completed in 1990 by The Red Wing Area Fund of the St. Paul Foundation."

The Jester
~ 90 day blog challenge: day 51 ~
The next few days will be images I took in Red Wing on the 4th of July.
I love this guy! He's been stolen and thrown in the river and he still knows how to put on a show.
You can have one for your very own if you like (and have enough money) by visiting the artist's webpage.

Butt Seriously, Folks...
~ 90 day blog challenge: day 50 ~
...there is nothing more serious than a butt in the air and a cop car flashing us.
After the fireworks last night, there was plenty of waiting time. I decided to play with long exposures of cars driving by and caught this surreal, unnamed butt as a bonus. Lucky me.

Happy Fourth
~ 90 day blog challenge: day 49 ~
I got plenty of "traditional" fireworks shots this evening, but this one really intrigued me. It looks like multi-colored pine needles falling from the sky.
Techie Corner
There were power lines and a street light were in the way, which bums me now that I've seen how nicely the pictures turned out. I could edit out the lines, but it would be a ton of work.
~update 7/5~ Ok, I couldn't stand the power lines anymore. Not a perfect edit, but better than it looked with power lines cutting through the image.
