This little inch worm (that looks an awful lot like a twig) was having a nice stroll in the sun today, this first day of summer.  Many thanks to a fellow photographer who let me borrow his macro lens to capture this little guy in action.

As I was waiting for my husband to come revive a dead vehicle, I decided to be productive and take a bazillion images of a caterpillar, who was moving a lot faster than my truck was.

Yep, there was no way this image was going to be tack sharp considering I had to shoot hand-held at 1/20th of a second and he was moving at lightning speed...for a caterpillar.
