Convergency
A week ago I happened to come upon this interesting roundabout sculpture. Being that it's round, it seems fitting to be here. It looks like the inner part of the ring is crushed glass. I may have to investigate it further someday.
Ok, so then I start googling and find out that its installation was a big to-do for the city of Bloomington and has been around since 2015. It's called Convergence and it's 35 feet tall! You can read more about it on the artist's page.
To get a perspective on size, here is another angle. It is quite large.

Shady
So I saw some turkey lurking around cars in a parking lot today. A real shady character. I thought about calling the cops in case he was a thief, but then I saw him pull out his car keys, so he must be legit.

Dreary
It was a very dreary day today – snow, sleet, ice and lots and lots of wind. Saw this poor lady during my morning commute. She looked very cold as the wind whipped around her.

Defrosty
Winter is over, the snow piles are melting and maintenance/construction season is about to start. Apparently, Centerpoint thinks they need to fiddle with the gas line, but the ground isn't cooperating yet. I've never seen a heater quite like this before.

Plentifully
At least it was pretty today during my commute. And we set a record for the snowiest February on record in the Twin Cities at 30.4 inches. And more snow later this week. If you're going to do it, might as well break a few records.

"Snow? Ice? Sub-zero temps? Whatever. I do what I want." ~ Turkey Lurkey
I was pulling into the Shops at Lyndale tonight and one of my turkey buddies was strutting their stuff. The quality isn't the greatest, but it was too funny not to blog.
I found out after I got home that another turkey was behind my truck. It's tell-tale shadow showed up in the picture of my side mirror.

Flocky
We went for a walk during our brief snowfall on Sunday. A little flocking can even make weeds look pretty.

Tacky
Why bother taking the time to fix the whole stoplight when just tilting the top lights down will do?

Quietly
Just a quiet Friday night in downtown Minneapolis. I'm sure it will look nothing like this two weeks from now when the Super Bowl crowd is in town.
