Uncomfortably
When your friends convince you to go on a new ride at the amusement park, but you are a little unsure.

Blarney
This evening I helped out my husband with a job cleaning up the trash that is left after the winter snow-plowing season snow mountain has started to melt. You've probably seen these mountains of pestilence and waste in the parking lot of your local neighborhood box store.
The mountain of doom melts slowly, so this will probably be a process over the next few weeks – A twisted archeological dig of sorts.
Tonight's inventory of the flotsam and jetsam of misery included:
- work gloves
- vinyl disposable glove
- dirty diaper
- security badge
- possibly part of a key fob
- booze bottle
- plastic Coke bottle with pee in it
- disposable masks - several
- switch cover from a device of some kind
- candy wrappers
- plastic bag
- broken watch/Fitbit band
- paper towels
- broken stakes
- bunny head; no, it was not a toy.
- a large crow lying on its back in the grass; no, it was not sunbathing. Think - Weekend at Bernie's
- pieces of concrete
- and much, much more.
That brings me to my awesome find of the evening. A real, live, honest-to-goodness Pirate Doubloon!! If you look at today's image, you will see that it's even written right on the back. That proves it's real! I am so happy with my awesome find. I'm rich! It makes picking up all the rest of that nastiness worth it. Well, except for the pee bottle. Pee bottles are never worth it, not for all the pirate doubloons in the world.

Fuzzies
More from MOA. It's changed a lot in the decade-plus since I've been there. But one tenant that's still there, for as long as I can remember, is the Alpaca Connection. They don't have the huge blankets hanging on wall racks that you can walk through anymore, but they still have plenty of fuzzy fuzzies.

Luxury
I had my bear and I was ready to travel in my Sears Cadillac. Nothing at all like the Cadillac baby strollers they make today. Take note of the lovely crocheted pillow used to make the stroller the right size.

Invasionary
Like I said yesterday, rubber ducks are all over our neighborhood. Could be a new sci-fi movie – Invasion of the Rubber Ducks.

Ducky
For some reason, there are lots of rubber ducks in our neighborhood. Must be something in the water.

Treachery
It isn't the fact that the goofy little creature in the cage is so dangerous that it needs to be guarded by Darth Maul and a kinky disembodied Spiderman with a whip. What is truly disturbing is the psycho photobomber in the background, cackling with glee and wallowing in the flowers after taking out a dinosaur. Be afraid of the quiet, innocent-looking ones. Be very afraid.

Chickie
Blogging from my phone today because my computer is otherwise occupied.
This happy little chickie belonged to my mom. I know it is quite old. I don’t know exactly when she got it; if it was when she was a child or later on.
The Barbie bikini bottoms are courtesy of little Elisabeth, in order to keep Chickie’s butt warm. Chickie’s backdrop today is the remains of the flowering bulb basket that I got a while back.

Frisky
Along with the pig that my friend gave me the other night, she also gave me this interesting wooden cat ball. It has 3 intricately carved and painted frisky kitties on it.
While taking pics, I noticed a name and date painted on it, so I Googled it. The artist had a whole line of these folk art wooden pull toys back in the 80s and 90s. They all came with a wooden cart. This one originally came with a cart with carved wooden balls of yarn for wheels.
Looking at the various carts online, it appears that the wheels on the cart might have rotated the ball so that you could see the carvings on the other side. I'll have to see what I can come up with for appropriately displaying this.

Rambunctiously
I had fun hanging out with a friend this evening. In addition to talking and laughing, we had fun playing with her melting snowman. I had no idea such things existed!
She also gave me this lovely pig as a present, so of course, I had to put the two together. It looks like Mr. Snowman could be participating in a pig rodeo. I think, from the look on his face, he just realized that he should have been holding on.
