Cat on Crack
On another walkabout through our neighborhood, we came across this fierce predator hiding in the jungle. We gave it a wide berth, as it was obviously high and extremely unpredictable.

Just your Friendly Neighborhood Kitties
I see more and more homes in our neighborhood recycling their used/cracked/old pottery, china, dishware, and figurines in their flower beds and landscaping. This particular home had oodles and oodles of cat figurines in their yard. This is just a small sampling of the variety of kitties found there.
I absolutely love the crazy kitty in the middle. The one in the lower left, though. That one is kind of creepy – especially those eyes!

Slatternly
Sifting through my collections this evening and found this. I thought for sure I had blogged it before, but I looked through all of my blog pics and didn't see it. This is one of my mom's coin banks. As seen in 2010.

Commemoratively
It's nice to be able to decorate for Christmas again. And for me, the decorations wouldn't be complete without a nativity scene.
This year is extra special. Partly because we have a finished house and can decorate for Christmas, my favorite holiday, again. In addition, not only do I get to set up the nativity set that belonged to my mom but now it is an expanded display because my husband's mom had the same set with extra pieces I could combine with what I already had. I can commemorate the birth of Jesus and remember two special ladies in my life who celebrate Jesus' birthday in heaven now.
My 31 Days of Christmas Celebration continues.

Rambunctiously
I had fun hanging out with a friend this evening. In addition to talking and laughing, we had fun playing with her melting snowman. I had no idea such things existed!
She also gave me this lovely pig as a present, so of course, I had to put the two together. It looks like Mr. Snowman could be participating in a pig rodeo. I think, from the look on his face, he just realized that he should have been holding on.

Celestially
I stopped by Michaels tonight on the way home from work. I love that store! And what a beautiful angel! ~ Celebrating 31 days of Christmas
