Touchingly
When this was just a tiny photo in an album, I didn't think much of it. But when I scanned the negative and blew it up, I found that I really liked it. The lighting on my face is soft. Cute pose. Wearing my mom's coat from when she was that age. Perfect! Good job, mom!

Loosely
Another one of my air plants, which I stuck in a vintage ceramic basket. Air plants are so versatile because they don't need soil.

Touchy-feely
Images can evoke moods. The way an image is finished in post-processing can evoke a mood. Today I'm posting three post-processed images and the original image with no processing except for cropping.
Which one do you like best and why?
Here is image #2:
Here is image #3:
Here is the original image that has only been cropped:

Shelly
We celebrated the first day of Spring by going for a walk at Crosby Farm Regional Park. I found this itty-bitty shell and set it on one of the numerous dead trees near the Mississippi River as a backdrop for my picture.

Canny
I was looking for an interesting holder for this air plant. Looking on my favorite addictive shopping website, I saw that seashells and urchins are being sold as air plant planters. That got me thinking and I went rummaging around for this little gem. I've had this sea urchin since approximately 3rd grade. I got it as part of a swap meet that our class had and I've had it ever since.
I think it's quirky and cute and looks like someone's bedhead. It also spins really well for added charm.

Inspiringly
Remembering this lovely lady on St. Patrick's Day. Today would have been her 111th birthday if I did my math right.
Most people look at her and see a grandma. But I don't. When I was a kid, I would hang out with her after church. There was one time, I can't remember what my mom asked, but this sweet lady answered, "Just us kids." After that, I always called her "Kid."
Even though she's been gone many years now, thinking of The Kid always brings a smile to my face.
As seen at her birthday party on St. Patty's Day, 2005.
I went looking for her obituary because I couldn't remember how long she has been gone. I don't even remember writing the following on her tribute page, but it pretty much sums up our relationship.

Compatibility
Sometimes it's fun to pull up old outtakes/test shots and work with them. Especially if my sweet baby girl is (mostly) in the pic. We were like two peas in a pod. As seen in 2007.

Luminescently
My friend and I decided to hit Southdale on this dark and gloomy day. I typically stay away from Bath and Body Works because it's so stinky, but my friend needed some hand lotion.
This dazzling display definitely added some much-needed color to the day.

Uncompromisingly
A pretty flower and also a good reminder of the people of Ukraine during this tumultuous time. Bittersweet.
Techie Corner
Yellow and blue are opposites on the photography color chart, but they look so good together.

Erectly
The city has been doing a rehab project on the 10th Ave Bridge since 2019. Supposedly they will be wrapping things up this spring. From this perspective, it looks like an erector set.
