Criminally
Yesterday I shared an image of an interesting-looking home that we saw last Sunday. Today I'm blogging another picture of an interesting-looking home, but for a much different reason.
I vaguely remembered hearing about a fire on Lake Minnetonka. You can read about it on several different news sites. The police suspect arson. I haven't seen any updates posted since December when it happened, but at the time they had no suspects.

Medievally
Saw this home while out last Sunday. I've always liked houses with towers. It makes them look like mini castles.

Rangy
It was a gorgeous afternoon yesterday. Very warm, which meant that lots of people were out on Lake Minnetonka; but not in boats. Every bay had clusters of people fishing, snowmobiling, and walking their dogs.

Chary
We went for a drive around the bays of Lake Minnetonka this afternoon. We got out briefly and walked a short way out onto the ice of one of the bays, where our pupper is currently standing in this image. My husband offered to drive us across the lake, like many others were doing today, but I wanted no part of that. I prefer terra firma.
It was a beautiful afternoon. Highs in the 40ºF range. Pupper seemed happy too. Although, she seemed as uneasy on the frozen body of water as I did.

Worldly
My husband gave me a lovely terrarium filled with succulents for Valentine's day this year. So cute!
Back in 2018, he gave me a bouquet with a couple succulents in it and I fell in love with them. Unfortunately, one of my cats destroyed those.
Now we live somewhere else; with a nice, safe room away from naughty kitties. Hopefully, they will thrive in their little round world.

Fuzzies
More from MOA. It's changed a lot in the decade-plus since I've been there. But one tenant that's still there, for as long as I can remember, is the Alpaca Connection. They don't have the huge blankets hanging on wall racks that you can walk through anymore, but they still have plenty of fuzzy fuzzies.

Garishly
I think it's been over a decade since I've gone to MOA. Most of the stores have changed, including this one. Yes, it's definitely over-the-top, but I thought it was a cute concept anyway. The ultimate game of dress-up.
I figured it would be frowned upon if I took pictures of the little princesses sitting on their thrones getting the spa treatment. They sure were cute, though.

Frigidly
Another from our field trip on Saturday. In the Bold North, the brutal windchill doesn't keep bicyclists at bay.
Techie Corner
Like I said yesterday, the soft edges, inherent with my cheap fisheye lens, don't necessarily detract from the subject. In this case, the soft edges can even give the feeling of motion.

Modernly
Another one from our short field trip yesterday. The Weisman always looks so pretty in the sun. A cold, crisp, winter day.
Techie Corner
I used the cheap fisheye for this shot also. It does get pretty soft around the edges, but that's fine, as long as the center is sharp. In fact, that softness actually comes in handy for tomorrow's image.

Acclivity
A while back, I bought a cheap fisheye lens for my camera. Today the husband and I went out for a bit and I tried it out. Temp wasn't bad outside, a balmy 16ºF, but the wind was BRUTAL.
Apparently, Minnehaha Falls was the place to be today, brutal wind or not.

Monkey
My mom always had two pictures of me that she could flip back and forth. For this one, she would say, "See the monkey?" And then she would flip to the next one, me in the same outfit, standing, facing away from the camera, with no pants. Then she would say "The monkey ain't got no pants!" I can still hear her saying that. Brings back fond memories.
I do still have the second picture, but people are so weird about cute naked baby photos these days that I'm not going to post it.

Becomingly
I was thinking about my bestie this evening and decided to edit another of her wedding pics. Beautiful bride. They both are so young.
