Nippy
I was browsing through some old slides from my father-in-law and came across this one. I guess we could call this the bold northwest, as it was taken in Seattle. Apparently, this guy doesn't care that Jack Frost might be nipping.
My father-in-law thinks this was either a University of Washington Climbing Club event or a mission for the Seattle Mountain Rescue Group. He was a member of the club and also knew the person who started the rescue group and went along on several rescues with them.
He thinks both of these guys were world-famous climbers, but he doesn't remember their names. They were part of both groups too.
As taken by my father-in-law in March of 1964.
