Hollowly
Bird condo high-rise. I can only image the monthly payments for the spacious homes on the top two floors.

Curiously
Look at that cute little goat face!
Techie Corner
She was very curious and wanted to get as close as possible, so I got great focus on her nose.

Fussbudgety
This hen was carrying on a rather heated argument with a Chihuahua. I'm sure, between the crowing and the barking, something was lost in translation. But I'm almost positive the hen won.

Cheeky
I've never had a goat grin at me before. She was probably thinking how funny humans look.

Not quite in focus, but too cute not to blog.

Uncontrollably
I think this beauty escaped from the horse truck from Sunday's blog. The kids finished playing in the sand and I couldn't resist capturing images of a couple of the toys. I didn't position them either.

Scrappy
Just because you're doing airplane salvage work doesn't mean you can't enjoy a pretty sunset. Another from our 2017 trip.

Smoky
From our Oregon trip in 2017. It was a bad, bad year for wildfires. Numerous areas were on fire from Montana to Oregon; with record heat temps in Oregon to go along with the fires.

Foolhardy
A closeup of the alligator that the Father of Waters is sitting on at Minneapolis City Hall. I don't think I would want all those sharp teeth so close to tender naked bits. But he has corn and a net, so everything should work out just fine, right?

Squirmy
Romeo is 7 today, but this pic is from the day I met him, when he was only 2 months old. It was hard to get a picture of him back then because he was always moving. He didn't know what to make of the paparazzi following him around.

Reconstructionary
Yesterday I posted exterior before and after the reconstruction of Minnehaha Academy. Back in May, we went on an alumni tour of the new buildings. Today's blog is a short slideshow of some of the things we saw.
I didn't take the time to label the images, so here is a run down of what they are:
– A partial view of the new library, with a lovely view of West River Parkway.
– A partial view of the new college-grade cafeteria.
– A partial view of one of four science learning labs.
– A partial view of the library rooftop green space.
– Construction of the Beauty for Ashes Prayer Room.
– Lots of windows and open spaces.
– Construction of a courtyard amphitheater.
– Loose brick shingles, handmade in Denmark, used as siding on the top two floors.

Restority
On August 2, 2017, a natural gas explosion tore apart my high school, Minnehaha Academy; killing two people and injuring others. This August, the newly rebuilt campus will welcome students back.

Fungosity
As I was getting ready to leave for work this morning, I noticed all the cute little mushrooms in the grass by my truck.

Trustworthy
Fire Station 1 has been at its present location since 1909. It was interesting seeing a fire truck up close (when not in a crisis situation.) As seen during Doors Open Minneapolis.

Money
We also went on a brief tour at the Federal Reserve building during Doors Open Minneapolis. I wouldn't mind having this shredded money cube as a coffee table. It would be quite the conversation piece. This was in the lobby area, which is the only place they allowed pics.
While on the tour, we saw a much bigger cube containing $40 million in un-shredded bills, behind what I assumed to be bullet proof glass, and with several guards present.

City
This downtown-backed chair was at Minneapolis City Hall in the mayor's office. I don't know where he got it, but it was very nicely done.
