Teeny-weeny
Today I got out of work early enough to enjoy a short trip to Minnehaha Falls on my way home. It was sunny and relatively warm at 21°F.
I spent about 45 minutes walking around and taking photos of the frozen falls and anything else that caught my eye.
As I was walking back to my truck to leave, I saw this tiny snowman on top of a snow pile by the parking lot. I had to bend over sideways to get a picture of him with the setting sun as a backdrop.
More images to come.

Decadently
This image fails to show exactly how big this piece of cake was. The server said it was cut wrong or something and it was really more like two pieces. It was almost a quarter of a cake.

Adventuresomely
I still remember my first snowmobile ride. It was with my cousin, Grant, in my grandma's back yard. Call me a fashion trendsetter with my gnome coat and my dad's ski mask.

Plentifully
At least it was pretty today during my commute. And we set a record for the snowiest February on record in the Twin Cities at 30.4 inches. And more snow later this week. If you're going to do it, might as well break a few records.

Treacherously
Saw this when we were out driving yesterday. While I was taking pictures, a guy driving by stopped and rolled down his window. He commented on the amazing view. He said he called management and complained and all they did was put up "caution" tape. (The icicles are hanging right over a public sidewalk.)
I say if you're stupid enough to walk under them, you'd better be prepared for the consequences.
The longest icicle is about 17 feet long. Someday, when the ice is no longer there, I can go confirm the measurement.

Operosely
This guy has definitely been earning his paycheck lately. The snow just keeps coming! I like how he's shoving it right out of the image.

Mosey
A lady and her dog were moseying down the trail during the snowstorm on Sunday.
I hung my phone out the passenger window to take this while we were driving by. The lady gave me a funny look, probably wondering what I was doing. Well, as much of a look as you can give with only your eyes showing.

Briskly
A jogger during the snowstorm on Sunday, who was taking his life in his hands by jogging down a slippery narrow road instead of on the trail.
This was taken by hanging my phone out the passenger window as we were driving by and hoping I didn't drop it.

Cross-country
A cross-country skier during the snowstorm on Sunday. I've seen several over the past few days.
This was taken with my phone out the passenger window while we were driving by.

Zippy
Today it's snowing like crazy and the temperature is brisk, but that doesn't stop hearty Minnesotans from enjoying the great outdoors, like these fat tire bicyclists zipping right along.
I managed to capture several images along W River Parkway by hanging my phone out the passenger window as we were driving home.
More images to come in the next few days.

"Snow? Ice? Sub-zero temps? Whatever. I do what I want." ~ Turkey Lurkey
I was pulling into the Shops at Lyndale tonight and one of my turkey buddies was strutting their stuff. The quality isn't the greatest, but it was too funny not to blog.
I found out after I got home that another turkey was behind my truck. It's tell-tale shadow showed up in the picture of my side mirror.

Emergency
Replica of the 1924 Buffalo fire engine. Found this in our current home when we moved in. After doing some internet sleuthing, I discovered that this is one of a set of replica fire engines that Readers Digest promoted in 1999. I thought it was cool looking.
