Illustratively
My lovely artist friend and her alter-ego selfie from 1978.
I thought about "fixing" the photo bomb in the background, but decided it added character, a very interesting character.

Rocky
Another scene from the past to warm us up on a cold day. As seen on our Oregon trip in the summer of 2017, when they were having record high temps. It was 95°F that day.

Peppy
That's a peppy little car, right there. According to Wikipedia, it could get up to a speed of 20 mph! Zoom!

Kaleidoscopically
We've had so many dark, gloomy days lately. Here's some color to brighten things up. As seen at the 2018 Minnesota State Fair.

Fussy
Why did the turkey cross the road? To get to Petsmart, of course!
I can't believe the turkey family is still around! I've been seeing them since last spring, before they even had their babies. The rest of them are under the pine trees. I thought there were only 4 babies, but I saw a fifth this time.
This one was walking right down the middle of a busy street. No fear.

Autobiography
Ahhh, the good old days of pecking away on the electric typewriter. I think I was writing my life story in this image – a novella, obviously.

Delightedly
Thinking about my mom, as today would have been her birthday. I love that smile on her face. This was taken during the years I was her full-time caregiver. Caregiving can be hard. Caregiving can be stressful. Caregiving can be depressing. But it can also be rewarding. I took satisfaction in knowing that she was well-cared for, even when she drove me crazy. I love and miss her.

Doily
I enjoy handmade lacy antique doilies. This one, however, does not fall into that category.
This is a vintage plastic doily; one of many, many plastic doilies we came across while cleaning out a house recently. Every one I found went right in the dumpster, but this insidious one snuck under the dumpster and escaped being hauled away. It has sat in the driveway ever since. Mocking me.
Apparently, no one else likes them either, because it hasn't been snatched up yet.

Fidgety
When work is almost over and you can hardly wait to leave.
