I Will Share Your Tears
Great concert by Tenth Avenue North tonight. Very inspirational to me. These guys have their heads screwed on straight.
Here is the official music video to go with today's blog.

I Miss Mom
From the 2008 archives. My mom lived with me at the time, so she was an always available photography subject. For fun, she let me color her hair. The vibrant color and lack of significant wrinkles made her look much younger than her years.

Romancing the Mower
Ok, I need someone to write a romance novel and use this as the cover art. Anyone? Anyone?
The absurdity of making a lawnmower look soft and romantic reminds me of another blog pic from long ago.

WPA Water Tower
This limestone water tower, built in 1939, was part of Franklin D. Roosevelt's Works Progress Administration program to provide people with jobs during the Great Depression. It was decommissioned in 1965 when the park switched to city water.
Found this image, taken in 2012, while browsing my Lightroom library.

Dam Construction
The Lake Byllesby Dam in Cannon Falls has been undergoing major construction.
I have been coming to this site since the 1980s. While it is nice to now have a pedestrian bridge over the river in order to take shots like this, it is bittersweet that I will no longer be able to walk out on the waterfalls portion.

Attention to Details
More from our brief visit to the historic district of Northfield last Sunday.
This is ornamentation on the end of the Central Block building, built in 1893.
