Neon Lift Bridge

#tbt 2004 – At first glance, this may look like a real bridge.  However, it is actually a neon version of the Stillwater lift bridge that hung in a restaurant in Stillwater.  I don't know if the restaurant or this work of art still exists, but I love this shot to this day.

2004 was the year that I bought my first digital camera.  It was a five, I say, FIVE megapixel Pentax camera.  I was so excited to be dipping my toes in digital waters, so to speak.

To get the image in focus and to get the reflection, I propped my square little camera on a black shiny bar table, which was strategically placed to reflect the neon on its shininess, and used the timer so there would be no wriggles.
