Full Moon

For some reason, I didn't find out about the moon/eclipse thing happening last night until it had already started, so no pics.

But for those of you who missed it,  I wanted to provide an equally magnificent full moon for your viewing pleasure.  If you want to see an eclipse, turn off the lights and slowly slide a piece of cardboard across your computer screen.  Enjoy.

Impromptu Portrait

I got a bit of shooting in at the LoLa art crawl.  This was taken with a reflector instead of flash.

No Mercy

Dusty ATV trails show no mercy; leaving their mark on all who venture forth.

Everyday Heros

Because firefighters rush in where angels fear to tread.

I shot this on film in 2003.  I share it today as a tribute to all firefighters and especially the ones who lost their lives on 9/11/2001.

Many Faces, One Morva

#tbt I told Morva to act goofy and this is what she gave me.

These images are from a photo shoot from 2003.  I scanned the photos and re-worked them.

Dam Fence

I have been coming out to this spot for approximately 25 years.

I'm not happy with the new fence they put up, but they did build a walking bridge over the river (to the right of this image) and they are expanding the spillways (to the left of this image.)  Everything is still under construction right now.
