Heart and Soul
For my last couple milestone blogs, I have given a tribute to someone.
Today I celebrate my 700th blog with a tribute to a sweet lady who loves God, loves people, loves life, and has been like a second mom to me.
Whether she is putting her heart and soul into decorating a special cake (like this one) or texting on her phone or looking at the latest pics of the great-grandkids on Facebook, she always lives her life as vibrantly as possible.

Cicada
I normally don't post iPhoto images, but that is all I had on me when I saw this bad boy resting on the lawn. My kitty walked right past it.

Flowery
Image two from the Open Streets event.
I think this pose needs some Shakespeare:
I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.
– A Midsummer Night's Dream
This was a random pic of a participant. I wish the sunglasses weren't there, but I think if I would have asked him to move them, the mood of the image would be lost.

Uninspired
My first post from the "Open Streets" event on Lake St. This dude was getting all whipped up about the Hi-Lake area; however, not everyone shared his passion.
